Their First Date — Whitney and Megan met online and spent a few days chatting on Instagram before deciding to meet up in person. On 10/10/21, Whitney suggested Olive & Ivy in Scottsdale for their first date. From the moment they sat down, the conversation never stopped — they couldn’t believe how much they had in common and ended up talking for hours. After dinner, they walked around the Scottsdale Waterfront late into the night, still talking, and pretty much became inseparable after that. Ever since, they’ve gone back to Olive & Ivy every year on their anniversary to celebrate where it all began. That’s why 10-10 has always been their special date — and why they chose to get married on 10-10-26.

Their Engagement — Whitney and Megan planned a road trip up the California coast for one of Whitney’s friends’ birthdays — or at least that’s what Megan thought. The birthday ended up being the perfect cover for what he had really planned. After a few days of driving and exploring, they spent some time in Paso Robles, and while visiting the Justin Winery, Whitney got down on one knee and proposed. It was such a romantic moment — surrounded by the vineyards, just the two of them, it felt simple and perfect. They spent the rest of the week soaking it all in with horseback rides, wine tastings, and slow brunches. It was the kind of trip that felt like a dream, and one they’ll never forget!

Meet 'Kitty' — their pride and joy. She may be small, but she’s a huge part of their little family. Whether she’s curled up on the couch, demanding treats, or just keeping them company, she fills their home with so much love and laughter. They couldn’t imagine life without her.

Favorite Hobbies — From the very beginning, being active was something they connected on, and it’s remained a big part of their life together. They love hiking, going to the gym, wake surfing, and biking — and when winter comes, skiing and snowboarding are favorites. The photo here is from The Wave on the Utah/Arizona border, one of their all-time favorite hikes. They’re excited for all the adventures ahead and for the chance to keep exploring life side by side.
